Terms and conditions

General

  1. We consider each order as an offer to purchase goods subject to these terms and conditions. Our despatch of goods indicates acceptance of your offer in relation to those goods and the creation of a binding contract.
  2. You must ensure that all information (particularly the Delivery address & contact numbers) supplied by you is correct before proceeding to payment. We cannot accept responsibility for delivery problems and may not be able to provide you with a refund if you give us inaccurate or incomplete information.
  3. Photographs and information contained on our website must not under any circumstance be copied, used or otherwise circulated without our prior consent.
  4. Terms and conditions may be altered at any time and without notice. The conditions displayed on our website at the time of placing your order will apply to your order.
  5. Every care has been taken to describe and portray items accurately using current technology, however slight variations in actual goods may occur.

Stock availablility

To check availability, please see the product grids on our website. There is no need to telephone to check on stock levels, as our staff have exactly the same information as the website, which is updated every few minutes.

Delivery

  • Our aim is to only offer products on our website which we actually have in stock, so that there are no delays in sending your order to you.
  • We despatch orders within 1 working day of receiving your order, by Royal Mail First Class, Next Day or by Parcelforce 24hr or 48 hr services. Therefore you should receive your order within 1-3 working days of placing the order.
  • Some of our products are sent directly from our suppliers (also within 1 working day) – this does not normally cause delays, however it does means your order may arrive in more than 1 parcel.
  • Next Day Delivery - we do offer an Express delivery service – this costs £6.00 extra. Please select Express service on the website. This is a Next Day service provided by Royal Mail, and is available Monday to Friday for orders placed before 12.00 noon. It does not guarantee Saturday delivery (although we have experienced that they do occasionally deliver such parcels on Saturdays). These deliveries do need to be signed for.
  • If for any reason there is a delay, we will inform you immediately of the expected delivery date. If this is not acceptable to you, we will refund your money straight away.

If your parcel has not arrived with 3-4 working days, please advise us by email to enquiries@justkidswear.co.uk

When your order is despatched from our warehouse, you will receive an email advising you of this. If the parcel has been sent on a Next Day or other Signed for service, the tracking number will be on this email.

Payment

We accept all major credit cards and debit cards. These include Visa, Mastercard, JCB, Maestro, Delta Visa, Electron, Solo and American Express.

Your card is pre-authorised when you place your order, but your card is only charged when we ship your goods.

Postage charges

United Kingdom & BFPO addresses

Standard Postage  -  £3.95 for delivery anywhere in the United Kingdom including BFPO orders.

Express delivery (next working day) – £6.00 extra (Monday to Friday). You can select this Express option on the website, and must place your order by 12.00 noon for your order to go out the same day. Express orders placed after noon will go out the following day. These orders will require a signature on delivery.

Currently we offer FREE postage for orders over £45.00 – this offer may change from time to time.

You will be able to check the postage charges on the website before you pay for your order. Postage charges can only be calculated once you have confirmed your Delivery address.

European Delivery

The postage charge for European countries is £6.00 (GBP6.00)

International (outside Europe)

The postage charge for International orders is £12.00. (GBP12.00).

Currency

Prices on this website are quoted in £ GBP pounds sterling

VAT

Childrens' clothing up to, and including age 13, are zero-rated for UK VAT purposes. For clothing sizes age 14 upwards, clothing designed for adults and all accessories, VAT is included in the price at the rate of 15%, changing back to 17.5% on January 1st 2010.

For orders ordered from and delivered to outside of the EU, VAT will not be charged.

Returns Information

You may return items to us, at any time within 28 days of receipt, for any reason. We are happy to exchange items or give you a full refund (excluding any postage charges incurred).

How to return or exchange:

When returning any item:

  • Please return your items unworn and in a clean, re-saleable condition. This means with all original packaging, hangers, and with labels intact.
  • Fill out the returns form enclosed with your order, noting whether you would like an exchange or a refund. If you have lost your Returns form, please print out your Order confirmation email and enclose this with your return. (please see notes below re Exchanges)
  • Please take your parcel to your nearest post office. We recommend that you send returns by Recorded (covers you up to £30) or Special Delivery (covers you up to £500). Always retain proof of postage.
  • Goods are returned to Just Kidswear at your own expense. Just Kidswear cannot be held responsible for parcels which fail to reach us or are damaged in transit, and we will be unable to process your return until it is received back.

Exchanges

Exchange orders can take up to 10 days to process – this is because it is a completely manual process, unlike the website orders (which wizz through the system within minutes!).

Therefore we recommend that if you require exchange items, that you place a new order on the website – this will ensure you get exactly what you require, and faster! Unwanted items can then be returned for a refund.

If you do send your items back for exchange, please

  • Check the website for stock availability first – if your replacement items are showing Sold Out on the website, then that means they are all gone so please choose an alternative.
  • Ensure you clearly print the full Product code of the replacement items on the form
  • Enclose a cheque payable to Just Kidswear if extra payment is required.

Refunds

Refunds are processed within 2 weeks of receipt of the items back, after they have been fully inspected by our Returns team. Please ensure your Returns form is clearly competed with product codes.

This Returns policy is in addition to, and exceeds, your Statutory Rights.

Faulty items

In the unlikely event that you receive a faulty or damaged item, please let us know at enquiries@justkidswear.co.uk and we will exchange it or refund as required. We would usually need you to send the item back to us, and we will be happy to reimburse you the postage costs incurred. Again, items must be sent back by Recorded or Special Delivery, retaining your Proof of Postage.

Cancellation

Under the United Kingdom Distance Selling Regulations, an EU resident has the right to change their mind and cancel an order at any time up to 7 working days after receiving the order without needing to give a reason.  We allow you up to 28 days to do this.

If you wish to cancel an order before we have sent it, please phone us on 0845 899 0245 or please email us enquiries@justkidswear.co.uk quoting your name, postcode and the Order Number, which can be found on your Order Confirmation email.

If you wish to cancel your order after we have despatched your order, you are responsible for returning the order to us at your expense. You must return the item(s) to us at your expense. Please use the Returns and Exchange Form included with your order.

Should you not return the item(s) to us, you are legally required to make them available for collection and we are entitled to charge you our reasonable costs to recover them.

Discounts

Various discounts including to special price offers, multi-buys or free postage may from time to time be given at our discretion. If you accept a discount that is subject to a minimum total order and the value of goods returned for a refund then causes that total order to fall below the minimum value then We shall be entitled to reduce the refund amount in order to reclaim the value of the discount.

Complaints

In the unlikely event that you have a complaint about any aspect of your dealings with Just Kidswear, we will ensure that your complaint will be dealt with fairly, quickly, effectively and confidentially. Please email Katherine Walker at katherine@justkidswear.co.uk with details of any grievance. Your complaint will be acknowledged with 5 working days and you will be kept informed of progress. We will attempt to resolve any complaint within one month.
